COLORBLOCK CAGE LIGHT

I bought this light cord on sale a couple weeks ago, and it was asking for a makeover. I wanted the cord to standout, so turned to a trusty wrapping technique I have used many times before. After my cord was decked out in neon, I went on a search for a cage to cover the bulb. Being a hot decorating commodity at the moment, most were on the pricey side, until I found a $2.99 plastic version at the hardware store. The white cage covering the white bulb looked more expensive then it was, and the neon added just the right amount of color.  At first I just added a couple blocks of color, then keep on wrappin’! Jury’s out on which I like better. Steps after the break!
